From the Pastor’s Heart:

“I will Bless the Lord at all times, his praise will continually be in my mouth! To God be the glory as it’s been a blessing to be the proud pastor of Second Damascus Baptist Church here in Greenwood, S.C. for over 27 years. Since the beginning of my stewardship here, my aim has been that souls will be saved to escape the damnation of hell’s fire. It is with great joy and humility that I have been able to progress in meeting this goal as well as lead, assist, and be among ministers and members who hunger and thirst after the righteousness of the Kingdom of God here at Second Damascus. It is with much enthusiasm and excitement, I congratulate the Second Damascus Church as we continue to work toward the goal of Kingdom building during this pandemic season. God continues to bestow upon me the strength to teach and preach every Sunday to spiritually fertilize his people, so that they will go on to spread the gospel and see greener pastures!"

Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart - Galations 6:9.

“I stand in gratitude for our blessings going in and coming out! To every Ministry and President, Thank You for your support and prayers. To my and First Lady’s daughter and grandchildren, Thank You for your support, prayers, and words of encouragement. To my First Lady, Thank You for being a real First Lady, a diamond in my ministry and firm help mate throughout all of these years.”

Oh, what an awesome God we serve! I’m grateful to be the First Lady of Second Damascus Baptist Church. Thanking the members for your Love and Respect. Over the years, there have been many dangers, toils, and snares, but God being the creative genius he is; has kept us through it all. We have become stronger soldiers for kingdom building. Much love to my wonderful, humble, brave, courageous, strong, and loving husband who loves us all unconditionally. Thank you for being our Pastor, the man of my life, Protector and Provider. Thank you to our daughter and grandchildren, who we love so dearly.
